Hardware Check for my PowerMac G5 Mod

So I've had a working G5 laying around for about 2 years. I considered selling or building a Hackintosh, I'll go with the second option icon_razz.gif Using the hardware I have in my PC

As the space inside is tight, and no cuts will be made to the case I will swap my current ATX motherboard (GA-Z77-D3H for a mATX)

List of components is as follows:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1240V2 (Noctua Cooler)
MOBO: GA-Z77M-D3H mATX form factor (been reading and looks good to install Mavericks on, I hate Yosemite) The only component I will buy.
Ram: Kingston 8GB Stick x2
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 250GB
GFX: Sapphire R9 280X Dual X OC (Will work "nearly" OBO?)
PSU: Corsair RM850

BTW I have an Intel Gigabyte NIC laying around, should I use it or the onboard ethernet?

Thanks

Well, I just built a great looking package from an old G5 Powermac that died on me several years ago. I chose to use the latest and greatest hardware that I could afford.

I used a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH board and an Intel 4790K CPU along with an Invidia GT-760 video card and lots of other parts like an SSD to create an Apple Fusion drive.

Most of the work was resting the case and installing a MountainMods, com 7 PCI slot mounting plate inside the G5 case. I utilized as much of the disk mounting and hardware from the shelf at the top.

Anyway, best build ever for my purposes.
