i am building a hackintosh and i installed a " Gigabyte gt730 rev.1 " card,. after booting up the screen flickered black screens, i used gputest to find out that the blinking occurs when the fps are high , they would happen randomly,

i used chameleon, with injection and without with nvidia web drivers and without, i used a patched kext for the gt730 , i changed device properties,. (the card didnt work with all configurations)

all of that i did again in chimera and clover , with the same problem ,
screen blinking black

i don't know if this problem is in rev.2 or not, i don't even know if this problem happens with other than gigabyte,. i replaced with EVGA gt740 2gb, and it worked fine OOB

verdict Gigabyte gt730 rev.1 , is a no go card , NO

Thank you for this.

I have been experiencing the same problems and it seemed no one else was!

Funnily enough I previous used a GT730 with DDR3 RAM and found it fine. My latest build using the newer DDR5 version flickers.

Was contemplating a GT640 or GT740.

Thanks for highlighting this problem here!

:-)
