keited Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 My wifi dongle works perfectly with Wireless Network Utility (an app with an icon of yellow wifi signal), it is built with RTL8188EU (TP-LINK WN723N V3) However, when I plug in this wifi dongle to one of ports on my USB hub, it stops working. It shows it is connected to Internet, but when I check available networks it only shows the one that it is connected. There are 10+ wifi network signal around here, but it only shows the one it is connected. Weird. I tried this wifi dongle on Windows with this USB hub. It worked, and I concluded this is not from the power issue. I believe this is problem with my hackintosh or the driver. Can anyone help me here? Thank you.
