toomanyairmiles Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hi Everyone, I'm trying to get a pair of 9800 GTX+ cards to work in an early 2009 Mac Pro running 10.10.1 - right now installing the cards stops the machine from booting (ANY kind of booting - even USB). toomanyairmiles Posted January 24, 2015 Author Share Posted January 24, 2015 It's an early 2009 Mac Pro Quad Core 2.66 / 32Gb / Evo 840 SSD / 3Tb Seagate ST3000DM001 / NVidia GT120 I bought this very recently and have upgraded the RAM with original Mac Pro Hynix memory, added the SSD and 3TB disk. These upgrades have staggeringly improved the performance and I'd like to put in a pair of 9800 GTX+ I have around the place while I sell my Hackintosh and save for a GTX 970 and x5690 processor.
