jack-69 Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Yosemite on HP Pavilion dv6-3103sl Hi everyone, this is a installation guide for the old and good HP dv6-3103sl. {Chameleon bootloader} Intel Core i5 460M (Work) ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (Don't work "BIOS block") Intel HD Graphics (Work) QE/CI graphics acceleration Wifi & Ethernet (Work) (Wifi: Atheros AR9285) (Ethernet: Realtek 8111) Stereo speakers & Microphone (Work) (Audio: IDT92HD81B1X5) Keyboard & multi-touch touchpad (Work) Memory Card Reader (Work) Camera (Work) [Poor quality FaceTime, open Photo Booth to increase] All USB (Work) Battery (Work), Sleep & Wake (Work), Brightness Values (Work), App Store (Work), FaceTime (Work), iMessage [Don't work (Rom SN MLB valid Work)] Install Yosemite with cpus=1 (prevents "kernel panic"). When the installation is complete, install Chameleon, FakeSMC, SMbios (Mac Book Pro 6.1) & overwrite the folder Extra (you can change settings with Chameleon Wizard) . Don't REBOOT. Patch AICPM with AICPMPatch (Terminal). Copy the KernelPatcher inside " Extra/modules " ( after you can reboot without cpus = 1 ) Install all kext (Kext Wizard) & RESTART. I use AppleHDA from Mirone, but when sound is on the orange led in the keyboard turn on and when sound is off only after 30 seconds the led turn off. Also if I mute audio the led don't turn on.
