Firstly thanks to this amazing resource/community I have (you guys have) solved many issues on all of my Hackintosh machines over the past few months, provided a wealth of knowledge, resources and guidance. So thanks, to you..... ...But now I have another issue. On A88AM ASUS AMD machine running mavericks 10.9.5 has ALC887 audio that i can't get working. I am using a cheap USB sound card for now but its not working well as there is some latency and decay issue so only half a muffled sound can be heard. I was in hope of using this machine to run logic x and ableton until I get something more suited for audio. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks EDIT: i have tested via bluetooth USB headphones and still the sound is crackling with one shot sounds. When playing continual sound its fine. Jimmiegin Posted January 17, 2015 Author Share Posted January 17, 2015 Found my own solution. After replacing the 10.9.5 kernel with the amd64 kernel from Niresh Maverics 10.9.0 all sound issues are fixed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
