francescophp Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Hi All! I have a r9 280x tri-x When i boot Mavericks from clover (efi) after apple logo i stuck at loading circle What i can do? I use hdmi and tryed to put 1002_6798.rom in efi/clover/rom (http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/147323/asus-r9280x-3072-130828-1.html) but nothing change.. Thanks! rainmaker3 Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 I have the same exact graphics card. It works on Mavericks with Chameleon bootloader and AtiConfig=Tahiti. Try the bootflag with clover and if it doesn't work try switching to Chameleon. Also try GE=No I have had no luck enabling it with Yosemite though. It worked with the vanilla kext on Mavericks, no editing needed. The Yosemite kext had the device ID in it and everything else seemed OK but it wouldn't boot past the loading screen.
