fchung0712 Posted January 2, 2015 Share Posted January 2, 2015 I just got my Y50 to work near perfectly in 10.9 yesterday, and then, I updated the 10.9.5 update, and I forgot to backup. I now get a lot of errors. One of them is waiting for dsmos. I only used the commands. My drive was made with #####.* Anyway, this did not work at all. I even tried dragging and dropping a copy of FakeSMC.kext into extra/extensions (or something like that), and System/Library/Extensions, but that did not work either. Attached are two pictures, one with only Verbose (normal.jpg) and one in safe mode with verbose (safe mode.jpg).
