d620osx Posted December 31, 2014 Share Posted December 31, 2014 Hi I have a Vostro 200 with a hd5450 and everything is working well including sleep using clover and a dsdt. The only thing not working is the audio. I have previously used voodoo hda and that has worked fine but breaks with each update. Is there anyway of getting the on board sound working without it breaking with each update. I belive the audio is Realtek ALC888 audio. d620osx Posted December 31, 2014 Author Share Posted December 31, 2014 @Herve, Thank you for replying. My hack is working well all thanks to your work with your Vostro. I was hoping I could get it to work without using the voodoo kext as all is working well. At moment I am using a usb audio dongle which works but does not allow me to use my surround sound speakers as it only has one channel input. I will upload my dsdt when I am next at my pc, but it is the one you uploaded. All I have amended is the fix for my gpu and sleep. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
