dpunx
Hi, I bought a PCI-E Broadcom BCM94360cd for a Hackintosh and only detect Bluetooth. If I try this on my macbook works great but no in Hackintosh. I search about this and I read about USB D- & D+. My PCI adaptor has this but don't work. Any idea? Thanks

luki1979
USB is for the bluetooth part, WI-FI should work straight away. please use DPCI Manager and check if Broadcom 4360 showing up. If so click on magnifier icon and check if using correct kext. e.g. AirPortBrcm4360.kext You might also have faulty adapter, does card works in Windows (you need bootcamp drivers) ? Maybe try different PCI-E port.

Some adapters has 4 cables to USB and this only has 2. I don't know if that's the solution :/

I don't know if that's the solution :/ If bluetooth works, no need to focus on the USB cable (this cable is *not* associated with WiFi function), it also means the PCI-e adaptor is not completely u/s: focus 1) on trying the card in another (1x) PCI-e slot, then 2) as luki1979 says, checking WiFi function in another PC - you will need Apple bootcamp drivers to make the thing show up/work in Windows. Some faulty BCM94360CD cards have been supplied/sold - you need to diagnose things straightaway in case you need to return that card. Your adaptor should work fine if in a (1x) PCI-e slot. 0xcafebabe
I got mine working now by changing the PCI-e slot.
shoarthing
I got mine working now by changing the PCI-e slot. . . . . to a 1x slot? (it having previously been in a 4x/8x/16x slot?) AFAIK the sole BCM943xx to PCI-e adaptor that works in PCI-e slots greater than 1x (physical or electrical) is the wdxxfu studio card (relatively expensive: sourced from taobao). dpunx
I'm waiting for a PCI x1 extender. Don't work on the x16 ports and don't enter into others.

I changed it from a x16 (electrical x8) slot to a x16 (electrical x4) slot. According to my motherboards manual, this one can also be used for PCI Express x1 add-in cards.

dpunx
According to this manual, your main board seems to have a pcie X1 slot. Did you try this on? Yes, and don't work. Various sellers of this pci wifi-bt 4.0 informs that not work on ASRock motherboards. No way. But if somebody can confirm that works with a USB 3.0 adaptor...
