Otherwise see here.

It's easier for you to decode redsock and radeon.

Then follow the steps in the Topic above to get this values

00 08 00 00 04 02 00 00 00 01 XX 00 YY ZZ VV 01

XX=Active Connector
YY=Your txmit
ZZ=Your enc (like 0x0)
VV=Hotplug ID

Clover injection of a FB is a bad idea.

Part 5 step 2, you said that HDMI is 0x0200, but then under it patch your HDMI with 04020000. Which one's correct ?

Not every value needs to change. You need to test and see what works best.

Could you please patch this for me?

I only need primary internal display functioning and you both seem to know a lot about this and I'm having real trouble with this

Thank you infinitely for your support so far

So, i have been looking into this and found that the imac 27" core i5 with ati radeon hd 4850 has a edp display, does anyone have the connector info for one of these? Or know the framebuffer?

If you mean iMac11,1

ATI Radeon HD 4850:

  Chipset Model:	ATI Radeon HD 4850
  Type:	GPU
  Bus:	PCIe
  PCIe Lane Width:	x16
  VRAM (Total):	512 MB
  Vendor:	ATI (0x1002)
  Device ID:	0x944a
  Revision ID:	0x0000
  ROM Revision:	113-B9110C-394
  EFI Driver Version:	01.00.367
  Displays:
iMac:
  Resolution:	2560 x 1440
  Pixel Depth:	32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
  Main Display:	Yes
  Mirror:	Off
  Online:	Yes
  Built-In:	Yes
  Connection Type:	DisplayPort
Display Connector:
  Status:	No Display Connected

then it uses framebuffer Quail

1st Connector type=0x02 == LVDS

2nd 00 04 == DP
