Hello everyone, new user here.

I'm trying to install osx on my Toshiba Tecra A10, but both Mountain Lion (iAtkos) and Mavericks (Niresh) give me a blank screen after installation on reboot. I've tried every combination of boot flags i could find on the net ( -v -x -h -GraphicsEnabler=Yes|No -npci=0x3000|0x2000 PCIRootUID=0 etc etc.....) but in almost every case i get a working system but without a display (blank screen) ... i KNOW it's a working system because i can ping the IP address that the Toshiba gets assigned by my DHCP server. Music/sound is playing, but still blank screen (voice about os 10 having this awesome new speech feature, and/or a song with lyrics in Turk) ...the hard disk LED lights up for a split second every few seconds (sorry about the IP/DPCP thing, that was from a previous install attempt)

... BUT, i can add the following small detail: Mountain Lion (iAtkos) seems to correctly detect my screen resolution of 1680x1050, while Mavericks (Niresh) does not - resulting in a horizontally "stretched" display during install. I suspect it's trying to use 1024x768 or something like that. This might be related to the blank screen issue, but i have absolutely no idea because i'm a total noob when it comes to osx.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :D :D

/* UPDATE */

If i plug a VGA monitor to the laptop's external VGA port *BEFORE BOOTING*, then i get a working GUI on the external monitor. However, hot-swapping video cables does NOT seem to work.

....so the question is: How do i tell Osx to disable / ignore the external VGA port?
