yo5bdm
Hy guys, please forgive me if I post in the wrong place, first time here. I finally got the time to try out Mavericks, I wanted to give it a shot since forever. My system is: AMD Phenom II X6 64 1100T ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 with AMD 880G/SB710 chipset ASUS nVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti video card I managed to install Niresh Mavericks with the amd64 boot flag. After restart I get the "Still waiting for root device" problem. I re-installed numerous times with different settings for the SATA, including the still waiting fix that was included in the installer, tried all the boot flags I could find, but still no luck. I understood that I need a driver (kext) for my southbridge/sata driver, but did not manage to find anything by simply google-ing. What else can I do? Where else can I find solutions? Or what other method should I search? I think someone from here knows this hardware setup and can help me. Thank you in advance!
