Mini sas coupler? psu convertion? Converting 2006 mac pro case (with all fully functioning guts to use)

As the title suggests, I had some extra money and I won a auction on a functional mac pro 2006 off ebay for around $130 after shipping (was in alberta, I'm in bc)

I've since gutted the majority of it, I have taken out the case fans, super drive caddy, power supply caddy, cpu coolers and the functional motherboard with cpus still in them (2x 2.66ghz dual cores for a quad total)

So all that is left is the front panel and the majority of the cords from the inside.

What I would like to do is keep the mini sas 36 pin male to sata 4x female+power ports that are on the back of the drive hot slot, so I can add/remove drives like its meant to be.

TLDR:
The part I'm after is a FEMALE mini sas to 4x Female sata cord. Or a female to female mini sas to mini sas coupler. Needs to be 8807.

I assume that should work, but I also assume I'll need to trace the wires back for the powers and figure something out for that as well....

Has anyone ever heard of someone converting a 2006 mac pro? This is *NOT* a g5 case.

The power supply seems really good too, its a 980w but it looks like I would need to buy some cords or build some cords to be able to power my computer properly.... I have a 650w atx psu I have on the way, but if possible I'd like to use this since it seems to be better, plus it fits perfectly.
