Hi here,

i'm actually running a custom hackintosh, proudly made and with the following contents :

- Intel Core i5 4670 @3.40 gHz

- Gygabite H97M-D3H

- 8 GB of 1366 mHz RAM (obviously DDR3)

- 1 TO seagate barracuda HDD

- 650 W Cooler Master PSU

- I am using the integrated graphics (HD4600) with DV-I output

Running OSX Yosemite 10.10 and Windows 8.1 64 bits, PC boots with Chimera v4.0.1 (would like to switch to clover for HDMI but I get ASCI error everytime with clover)

So my question is the following : I would like to buy a Saphirre R9 280 Dual-X with 3GO of DDR5 memory, as it is as powerfull as a GTX 760 for 3/4 of the price, but I would like to know first if it is compatible with Yosemite OOB, or just installing a Kext. And if ever it is not compatible, can I use the DV-I output of my motherboard (so the integrated graphics) without outplugging my graphics Card ?

Thank you and excuse my poor english :)

I hear the Asus R9-280 is work OBO with Yosemite, not much of Sapphire one that. I got few of Radeon 7950 work OBO with Maverick and Yosemite.

in clover we can let which graphics to load such onboard or Radeon, not with Nvidia those.

maybe your config.plist for onboard intel HD 4600 got a problem or something, try to upload that one for other member take a look first before buy a new graphics card.

I don't use onboard graphic.
