kondaxdesign
Update on my situation. I've managed to get all three monitors to work, although I face a large issue. On boot, my intel-connected monitor is what osx uses. The loading screen starts up on that. Once my system has auto logged-in, that screen freezes with an image of the booting screen and the loader, although the other two function fine. Anybody know how to fix this:? Cheers. Hello, I'm curious if it's possible to utilise two graphic devices at the same time to use multiple monitors. I'm running an i7 3770 with a GTX 660. I have two monitors hooked up to my 660, one to my MB with the i7 HD4000. I'm only able to run the two monitors with the 660 at the moment, on windows I was able to run all three. Is it possible with OSX? Cheers.
kvonlinee
How many port on GTX660? On my GTX660Ti, it is able to drive 4 monitors. If you want onboard and gtx 660 run, mke sure they are not conflict or it make KP Enable on bios for igpu and make system load both graphics, maybe add smbios carry onboard graphics( i am not sure it would go for you) Good luck. Thanks for this. I'm unsure how to carry that out, though. I'm able to run four monitors, although two are DVI and one is VGA - I don't have any VGA ports on my 660. I've enabled it in the bios, how would I use both graphic cards and such? Cheers.
kvonlinee
Make sure you have a bootable backup. Chnage the smbios to the one that have onboard graphics which the cpu support. If you able to run 4 monitor, so what you want?

kvonlinee
You buy adapter from gtx 660 cover to monitor you have or buy a new monitor with the connect gtx660 support.
kondaxdesign
I'll be purchasing a new x99 build within the following 3 weeks, although I was hoping that I could resolve this issue without buying a converter currently.

jamiethemorris
I faced this exact same issue a long time ago and unfortunately I don't remember what I did about it (I'm not using IGPU anymore). If I remember correctly it was either a BIOS setting issue or I had to change the SMBios... Could be wrong though. If you're planning on doing an X99 build soon, solving this might be kind of pointless. X99 has no integrated graphics. So if you're going that route, you're better off either upgrading your GPU or getting a second one that's cheap (I believe you can get a fanless geforce 610 or HD 6450 for under $100). I really want to solve this currently, extremely annoying. I'm getting a whole new build with the x99, including two 980s, this build will be gone by then. jamiethemorris
How are you activating the igpu? Dsdt? Does it work properly when you have the dedicated GPU disconnected?
kondaxdesign
How are you activating the igpu? Dsdt? Does it work properly when you have the dedicated GPU disconnected? I just select it in my BIOS. Both the iGPU and GPU are working now - the iGPU is just at an extremely low resolution.
kondaxdesign
After much frustration, I was able to get full hd vga with my hd4000. I'm now running three monitors, two on my 660 and one on my hd4000. Cheers.
kvonlinee
It is bit curious, how you did with VGA and HD4000?
kondaxdesign
It is bit curious, how you did with VGA and HD4000? After a lot of kext work and BL editing, it decided that it would work. Sometimes when I boot the monitor freezes on the loading screen, so I just restart and it works.
