Since some of you may know that I am currently working on 10.4.7 sources I am already close to gettin in single user mode but got a bit stuck at a point now.

If anyone got a suggestion about this, let me know. I posted the code snipped I am stuck with on my kernel dev blog at:

http://semthex.freeflux.net

If anyone got an idea let me know.

Thanks in advance!

semthex you are really doin a hard job.

I know how much it is difficult to code-compile-debug the apple kernel to get it working on a hack!

Go semthex go ! 10.4.7 is comiiin' on our hack!!!

I know you are so close!!!

BTW site is up again :2cents:

Hi guys. Just got past my last "buggy" point and now stuck with APIC (again) like I wrote on my blog.

Btw. 10.4.8 is out and I got a quick look at it. Looks interesting. I will try to transfer my modded source to 10.4.8 tomorrow. :-)

No relation, maybe beacause we don't like each other :-D

I'll keep on developing mine too, since I read he uses only required kext, this may be the thing I missed out.

Let's see if he really publishs anything today.

agreed - you guys got off on the wrong foot, but you're really not that different. you should combine your efforts.

on the other hand, a bit of healthy competition never hurt progress.... :)
