emoxam
why i am asking - i found next words at the ##### "Replaces /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext with a patched 10.9.0 AppleHDA.kext edited by toleda to enable full functionality for the Realtek ALC892 high-definition audio codec. Patches /Extra/DSDT.aml to replace layout-id 37C with layout-id 1." i understands why it is patching DSDT, but why is it copying kext ?
alexanderq
To make it more clear to understand from my point of understanding dsdt is telling the system what and where are the devices so the system could use proper kexts,Kexts-Drivers for Dsdt-Devices. emoxam
As i understand right now (after watching some youtube clip) sound (maybe alc892 too) can not be fixed without kext. With or without DSDT but always with kext.
