kd503_b Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 I made a 10.10 installer and booted with -f -v PciRoot=4 everything loaded fine but my screen went black(my monitor went to stand by). I also tried -x -f -v Kext-dev-mode=1 dartwake=0 but nothing changed. Then i change my video card (Nvidia 9600) with Nvidia 7200 and again booted with -v -f(without pciroot and Kext-dev-mode=1 dartwake=0 ), everything loaded and i saw the installer. I installed the os and booted (again with -v -f only). It loaded perfectly and i saw my desktop but in 1024x768 resolution... And now i don't know what to do. With nvidia 9600 screen goes black, with nvidia 7200 the resolution is 1024x768 and i can't change it... Do you have an idea what is going on? My machine: Dell XPS 430 Intel Xeon X3210 2.13Ghz 4GB DDR3 Northbridge: Intel Beachwood X48 Southbridge: Intel 82801IR ICH9R Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
