Can't wake from boot (Clover, Legacy)

Hello,

I'm running OSX Yosemite 10.10.1 with the latest version of Clover bootloader on a Legacy motherboard. Below are my specs:

Desktop Dell x8300

CPU Intel i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz.

Motherboard Dell Inc. 0Y2MRG

Graphics 2047MB Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (MSI)

Storage 250GB SanDisk SSD

Network Dell Dw 1510 AGN Broadcom BCM94322

RAM 8GB DDR3

The problem is that when I put my computer to sleep,   > Sleep , it sleeps but doesn't wake up. The glowing LED on my desktop turns off, and when I press it, the computer makes some noise and the LED turns on again, but neither my mouse, keyboard, or monitor is getting any power. I'm not sure if the computer actually woke up and that I can't see, or if there is another problem. I tried using darkwake=No, darkwake=0, and darkwake=1-10, but none of these worked. Attached is my config.plist.

Thanks for any help!

For what it's worth, several people seem to be having this issue. I know I have this issue on a GA X58A-UD3R/i7 930/GeForce 260 setup (booting using TonyMac's tools, not Clover). I've disabled sleep on this system until/if anyone comes up with a solution.

There are several reasons why. Probably some Clover settings aren't correct.

Also, some comps wouldn't wake from USB device, but you have to push power button, and then, when led indicator shows light, you have to click mouse or press some button on keyboard.

Run in terminal to see more detailed info about wake:

syslog |grep -i "Wake reason"

Hey,

I tried running that command but nothing came up. I've already tried pressing buttons on my keyboard and mouse after pressing the power button and after seeing the LED power indicator.

On this case your comp never wakes

Try this:

syslog |grep -i "Wake"

Hi all,

I was just wondering what kexts/settings are involved with the sleep/wake functionality. I encounter the same problem, however I'm using a legacy Mac Mini from 2006.

So it is a little bit weird that the power management is failing for 10.10 and not for older versions. I've tried to use the power management kext of 10.6.8 but that didn't help.

Any suggestions which kexts/settings are involved with the sleep/wake functionality?

Many thanx in advance.

Regards,

Kees
