OSXWifi card + apple usb keyboard = boot failure

I recently bought a bluetooth/wireless PCI-e card from here.  It claims to be made for hackintosh, so I figured it would be perfect.  It works as advertised, except when my usb keyboard is plugged in at boot, it reboots soon after reaching the first bios screen.  The bluetooth module is plugged into an internal usb header and when either that or the keyboard is unplugged, it boots up fine.

I borrowed a friend's keyboard and had the same results.

Tech support at OSXWifi has been responsive, but swears that they've never had a problem anything like this.

I'm wondering if there might be a bios setting or something else that might be the culprit.

Any ideas?

Ryan!

I have zero issues running with my setup using OSXWiFi, apple keyboard and magic mouse work in the UEFI BIOS just fine.

READ my sig I do however have an ASUS X79 Deluxe Ivy bridge -E CPU. I also have 3rd party USB controller and Handoff feature in the BIOS turned on

Is your BIOS UEFI?

I understand the reboot is the issue, but just confirming I don't have that issue and I'm using the USB2 onboard.
