Haravikk
Okay, I've found a bunch of topics about iStat Menus on a hackintosh but found conflicting issues; for some people it seems to work mostly fine without any additional steps, others end up using other tools to monitor temperatures. I'm one of the latter; while some people see at least some sensors listed, I don't see any at all, and I'm not sure why. I have the latest version of FakeSMC.kext installed and am using Clover. During start-up FakeSMC reports that it is loading "13 preconfigured keys" and then "5 keys exported by Clover UEFI" which suggests that there should be something to monitor, but it's obviously not enough for iStat Menus. Is there some step I may be missing to get these working? It's no big deal if I have to use another tool, but I already use iStat Menus for drive/CPU/memory monitoring so I'd prefer it if I can get the sensors to work too if I can. [edit] Sorry, this should probably in post-installation; Yosemite is running fine, I just don't see any sensors. Could a moderator please move this if post-installation is more appropriate?
