Hello everyone

My Mavericks has been booting from Grub2 and running perfectly on my PC for a year.

A few days ago I wiped and re-partitioned my hard drive, and re-installed all the operating systems.

Mavericks was installed just like before and can be booted from USB drive without any problem.

But when I tried to boot from Grub2, I first got a ramdisk/preboot.dmg error (after choosing OS X from Grub2 menu)

and then a AllocateKernelMemory error (after choosing OS X from Chameleon menu).

parttool hd0,1 hidden+
insmod hfsplus
set root="hd0,5"
multiboot /boot

SOLVED!!!

well, after hours of testing, I finally found that the problem was caused by hiding my BOOT partition (Grub2, fat32).

parttool hd0,1 hidden+
I remember I had this command before, not sure why it's causing problem now.

But anyway, everything works fine after removing it.
