DavidMIRV
Just got my new system up and running on Yosemite however neither the onboard Bluetooth of this PC (atheros I believe?) nor the cirago dongle I used previously in other (pre 10.10) systems .. Will work .. Can anyone provide any help, insight or ideas in possibly getting either to work ? I miss my magic mouse!
mnfesq
I'm assuming that Yosemite didn't find your BT and says no BT device installed. If so, try this. It works for me (although I have also made DSDT changes to have my BT recognized as a different card.) BTFirmwareUploader.kext.zip

mnfesq
The wifi works independently of BT. There are several ways to get wifi to work but mainly, it's a matter of getting the PID and VID into the kext. I have always used a DSDT patch for that. The patch lets you add the PID and VID and lets you set the compatibility to one of those already in the kext. If you give me your PID and VID, I can show you what the patch would look like and can help you to find the place to put it in your DSDT.
