Good morning,

I'm trying to get my new build to work with clover but so far, I haven't had any luck.

First things first;

Intel Core i7 4770
Asus Z87-A
MSI GTX 760 OC
Samsung 840 Evo, 120GB

System comes from my MacBook, which died a few days ago.

Problems;

First tried with chameleon. System wouldn't boot without usb, no audio, ethernet was present but unable to get an IP. These problems aside, it seemed stable.

Built a clover usb-installer to get rid of having to use the usb, now trying to boot from that one before installing it to the hdd. Result with "kext-dev-mode=1" (safe-mode, single-user-mode and normal with/without cache):

This is most likely because of my using the default config. However, I have no idea as to how to adjust it.

Any help is much appreciated.

  • 2 weeks later...

Your Lan rtl G-version,  try MIEZE  RTL driver here (download area).

Use 10.10.1  usb installer created from AppStore App.

Try Clover 2795 (not the current version)

No need to add boot flag.

 try:  add to plist,  graphic section:   VRAM 4096 and Intel Inject = No,   Nvidia Inject Yes.

Sound HDMI audio will show up on one port,  use VoodooHDA (will see four ports).

If your monitor is connected to the other port, no sound port will be shown.
