Roxasss
acer aspire 4738 alc272 i5 480-m (still not found apple had) can someone help me fix my audio issuewhen my mackintosh still in maverickmy voodoohda keep crackle or distort after a whiledunno why... but in maverick i found a command that can fix the crackle with a little audio latency in iTunesthat is "sudo killall coreaudiod" this command has the same effect as changing audio bitrate in MIDI the problem is, after updating to Yosemite killing core audio causing many app player (iTunes, quick player, etc ) in mac to jam or hang and need to be restarted (in maverick i don't need to do that) in maverick i use some loop script that fix my crackle in every interval of seconds and iTunes still playing peacefully so is there other command to refresh audio setting in mac beside "killall coreaudiod" to fix my crackle and not disturb app player? a simple command to change audio bitrate in terminal would be enough... pls help @@..... kinda noob in mac terminal

aphioner
Try different versions of VoodooHDA. If that doesn't work, you gotta patch your kext.
