eroxm
Like said in the title, I've got the BCM57781 (ASRock Z77 Extreme4) working in Yosemite by patching the ID into IONetworkingFamily.kext, but it is not recognized as BuiltIn, so App Store is not working. The "Ethernet BuiltIn" option is enabled in Chameleon. I tried to remove NetworkInterfaces.plist and re-adding the interface, but that didn't work. Also tried the BCM5722D.kext, with that one the card was recongnized but didn't get any connection and it still was not "BulitIn". Any other things I can try? I don't want to use NullEthernet.kext if there's another way to solve this issue.
kvonlinee
Take a look here http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/19442-guide-get-icloud-app-store-and-imessage-working/ I face similar thing like you have now, onboard lan dead, pcie realtek lan work but no appstore, work for me while that method until I update to clover bootloader than I don't need it anymore. Good luck
eroxm
Problem solved! By opening EFI Studio I got the idea to check my PCIRootUID. Took a closer look to my org.chameleon.Boot.plist and found out that it was set to 1. Chameleon Wizard told me it should be 0 so I changed that and after a reboot everything was fine. Appstore, Facetime and iCloud are working now. Only thing that is missing now is Messenger, but for that, I think I have to change bootloader to Clover, since NVRAM of Chameleon seems not to work with Yosemite from what I've read.
