yoshiyoshi
I am tring to install Mavericks to GAZ87X-UD3H(BIOS versionF8) I found many people succeeded in installing Mavericks on that board using ##### and ##### and baught it and tried. M/B GA-Z87X-UD3H CPU Celeron G1820 2.7GHz meomory 16GB SSD Plextor 128GB At the first screen displaying an apple and surf after initial booting, I entered -x -f -v. The booting It was going on and stopped saying hfs: mounted MAinstaller on device root_deviceXCPM: registerd I have no idea how to address these problem. Of cource, I configure BIOS , VT --no, SATA AHCI, legacy bios. But, I couldn't set memory profile1. It comes from my using celeron. My trouble comes from Bios version? My BIOS is F8. Most of people that I found succeeded in installation were using M/B version F7. Or I should use myhack or clover?
Huckleberry Pie
Go for MyHack or the manual install methods. There's a reason why Insanely frowns upon Tonymacx86's stuff, hence the pound signs in place.
yoshiyoshi
Thank you. Myhack is better than #####? I will try it.

kvonlinee
Your cpu celeron haswell is not support by osx kernel, you may want to search to see any patch kernel for that cpu for osx install you need, and if it have do not update version such 10.9!to 10.9.5 because it will break osx update. Second method is swap cpu to core i-3 haswell, this one has free trouble update.
