Yosemite headaches and waiting for dsmos

I had a hackintosh running yosemite fine on my setup, and all of a sudden everything went to hell and now I can't get the thing working at all again. It started when I tried installing drivers for my Z87 UD3H's onboard ethernet (AppleIntelE1000) after installing Yosemite. Now the machine will not boot at all, either from my USB or my HD. When I try to boot, it's the old "Waiting for DSMOS" thing, but it hangs even when trying to boot from my install USB again. Strangely, my Apple Magic Trackpad and USB keyboard also stopped working in Clover as well, which is weird because that's before anything that should be dependent on the OSX configuration. Does anyone have experience with this kind of thing happening?

Oh also, I booted into single user mode, and I wasn't able to find the kext for AppleIntelE1000 in my S/L/E, even though I just copied it there. Again, WTF?
