Hello

Great new :)

I just ask me: What CPU model can i use iMac 15,1? 4th generation intel with X99 socket?

It works on my X99 rig but it doesn't do anything over the MacPro 6,1 bios.

People with the Haswell Refresh CPUs would probably want to use this bios.

Hello,

I am also using Intel Core i5-4690K.

How do I use this info to edit my SMBios.plist?

Thanks in advance

Hello

This model identifier is only for Chipset Intel series X (X38, X58(socket 1366),X79, X99)

This model simulate hardware of iMac 5K Screen...

The correct SMBios to your i5 4690K is iMac 14,1/14,2

What about Z97X and 4790K?

No it isn't, only Intel Xeon Macs such as the Mac Pros are X series chipsets (AFAIK). The iMac15,1 is a Haswell-refresh (Z97) release. The 15,1 would actually be better than those you mentioned. the Intel Core i5-4690K is a Haswell-refresh CPU.

I'm hoping they implement this model into Clover Configurator. I would really like to use it's SMBios for my Z97 Intel Core i7-4790K setup. Currently, I use the 14,1 or 14,2 SMBIOS (can't remember at the moment and am not booted into Mac OS X at this moment).

Is there any way to generate a serial number for the 15,1 yet? It isn't supported by Clover Configurator or Chameleon Wizard yet. My system specs are in my sig and I am currently using a 14,2 smbios but the 15,1 more reflects my system.
