zoomie
I name the main hard drive on each of my computers after its network hostname. The hostnames in my home network are named after Warner Brothers cartoon character. bugs - my main desktop PC, because Bugs Bunny is arguably the Alpha dog in the Warner Brothers world. roadrunner - my notebook PC taz - secondary notebook PC wileycoyote - my MythTV box - painted with Acme logo - and yes I know the correct spelling is Wile E. Coyote. sylvester_jr - my mac mini - if I had another real mac, I'd name it sylvester. elmerfudd - my network printer marvin - after marvin the martian, a linux box acting as a fileserver, bittorrent client, and web server. porkypig - SSID for my wifi router
