dudeinco
I have been attempting to replace my old Chameleon loader with Clover in preparation for Yosemite. I downloaded Clover R2953, and have attempted to install it with a few different options, and they all end up the same: "Boot 1 Error." I reinstall Chameleon using the Chameleon wizard, and the Boot 1 Error goes away. Given that this motherboard is not UEFI, I don't believe any UEFI options would be useful, so what is the secret sauce to getting Clover installed? It works great from the USB drive I installed Clover on, but once I use the wizard to install it on the hard drive, no dice. On an off note, I think based on images I've seen, that Yosemite is ugly as sin, but I'm betting if you want to stay current with Apple, you're going to need to get on board. I have a hackintosh based on a P6T Deluxe with a Xeon x5660 (12 cores for virtualizing additional machines!), NV GT 610 (originally, it was going to be a Steam streamer), 12 GB of RAM, and 2x 500GB SATA hard drives. Windows 8.1 on one drive (Parallels picked it up and virtualized it), and OSX 10.9.5 on the other.

dudeinco
Thanks for the tip, but it wasn't working with Clover (and I believe a boot 1 error is a little different than a boot 0, right?). I attempted to use the identical settings as the USB drive for a hard drive install, and that was a no go as well. Right now I am booting from SATA 2... I may try swapping the hard drives and see if that makes a difference. I don't know - it's been frustrating. Yosemite install crashes after the first reboot as well - it goes by too quickly to see why.
Pimentel
Hello So try use Chameleon... sometimes it's more easy to configure than clover.
dudeinco
Well, I wished that worked... The easy Yosemite Chameleon installer installs everything great on the USB drive, but when I boot to it, it goes to a black screen and reboots :/

kvonlinee
maybe when you install clover not for the legacy, my system event it has UEFI but I could never figure out how to make it work. so for my I use the legacy way with clover work great for me. when you install clover you can try link the picture if you chose to install on ESP you need to format there drive with in terminal: sudo newfs_msdos -v EFI -F 32 /dev/rdiskXs1 the X is the number of the drive you install clover to, check with: diskutil list if you uncheck on ESP, then don't have to worry about format those EFI because it install on the partition with the drive for me clover is really help, event on old machine Dell XPS 410 I could run 10.9.5 good luck.
gerard71
there must be a non-UEFI installion as the previous post you have a file BOOT and EFI folder to the root of the hard drive you take the two and puts you in the drive patition BootX fusion
