Issues upon booting Yosemite, No entry sign, Reboot solves this?

I sometimes have problems booting into Yosemite and is shown a no entry sign. If I reboot my computer, it will load up correctly without using any boot flags. All the times that the issue arise, I was never on verbose mode to identify the issue, but I read around other posts and forums that this may be an issue involving AHCI in the bios, but my bios is currently configured to AHCI and the CMOS did not reset. I also read that I might need to install the intelahciblockstorage in #####. I was wondering if anyone could give me an accurate explanation of what I need to do to get this corrected.

My specifications are as follows:

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H

Intel Core i7 4790K

32GB Crucial Ballistic Low Profile RAM

OWC 500GB SSD

WD 2TB HDD Green

EVGA 750W PSU

2x EVGA Nvidia GTX 760 (SLI)

Bios settings are:

Load optimized defaults

VT-d = Disabled

Boot mode = AHCI

Boot selection = Legacy

XMP = Profile 1

Internal Intel Graphics = Disabled

I think thats about it. Please help. I really appreciate it. Thanks.
