letbeaman Posted October 25, 2014 Share Posted October 25, 2014 Hi All, Has anybody managed to get sound working under Mavericks on an HP Z800? I've seen some posts from older OS X versions, where people have used the VoodooHDA 0.7.2.3 driver and reported success, AFAIK 0.7.2.3 was renamed to 7.2.3. at some point. I have tried 7.2.3 without success (it causes a kernel panic at boot), and have also tried 2.8.4, which doesn't stop the machine from booting, but equally doesn't seem to recognise the audio hardware (which Ubuntu tells me is an ALC626) Has anybody had any more luck than me?
