How can I hide an SSD or any disk from the OS or DiskUtility? I'm not trying to hide it with clover or chameleon (I don't need to because it is already hidden there).

I ask because I get: "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"  popup every time I log in.

The disk is my Asus recovery/reinstall drive: Device SCSI\Disk&Ven_SanDisk&Prod_SSD_i100_24GB\4&1038a42f&0&010000.

Is there anyway to hide it? I don't want to make it readable at all. It currently cannot be mounted either but I can SEE it in DiskUtility. I want to leave it exactly as it is but get rid of the annoying popup. Any ideas?

Hello

When i want hide in Finder window i just got to Finde Prferences in top bar and i uncheck All optical midias and they are hide.

And this problem is caused because OSX cannot read NTFS partition some times.... so i advice you donwload and install Paragon NTFS to OSX begin read/write in NTFS partition.

Create a single (small) partition on that disk that OS X can mount. It will then stop complaining.
