Hi, I'm using Intel HD 2500 Mobile (ASUS X201EV) and Clover, and try to enable QE/CI from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/287668-guide-intel-hd2500-full-resolution-and-qeci-1083/ . and yes, i'm using MacMini 6,2 SMBIOS

i can boot until the login logo, and the screen goes weird (weird color and random) and i can't see anything :(

Seems i've tried using EFI Strings yesterday and got same things like i'm using Clover.

hmm, is there any repo that i can use for patching my DSDT? thanks.

oh once again, i can't set my VRAM Size to 32MB but i can set it into 64, 128, 256, 512 MB *dundundun* . i see the clovers has VRAM Key that can used to set VRAM correctly. any hints?

You read the guide?

Add the following repository and apply the HD2500 patch:

http://pjalm.info/repos/graphics

VRAM is not a problem, is pure cosmetic.

But you can try this script - Is only for HD 4000.

Change VRAM on Intel HD 4000, using script.

sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x00.{1}\x10\x07\x00\x00\x10\x07|\x00\x??\x10\x07\x00\x00\x10\x07|g' ~/Desktop/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri
Change the ?? with the red number bellow to set the desired amount of VRAM:
10 = 256MB of RAM
18 = 384MB of RAM
20 = 512MB of RAM
30 = 768MB of RAM
40 = 1024MB of RAM
80  = 2048MB of RAM

1. Copy original AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext to the desktop and make a backup of it.
2. Run the script in the Terminal (dont forget to fill in the ??)
3. Install the kext, rebuild caches (use KextWizard)

4. Restart.

Or use EFI properties or DSDT patch.

i'm using this EFI Properties

7f0000000100000001000000730000000200000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000003006601140000006800640061002d0067006600780000000d0000006f6e626f6172642d31

Got garbled screen :( . other EFI Properties won't work, blank on internal monitor. DSDT Patch based on EFI Properties above, got garbled screen too :(

Oh yeah.

So, about your doubt you should try.

I've tried on 10.9 too and here the results (i'm using chameleon for now since chameleon is easier to use) :

IntelCapriFB 0 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 1 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 2 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 3 : Works (framebuffer only) , but got garbled screen if there is any IHD4000.kext in /S/L/E

IntelCapriFB 4 : Screen splitted to 4 , DualLink=0 won't help anything (won't work)

IntelCapriFB 5 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 6 : KP

IntelCapriFB 7 : KP

IntelCapriFB 8 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 9 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 10 : Blank

IntelCapriFB 11 : Blank

is there anything to resolve garbled screen on FB3? :?

I had this issue on my HD 3000 , the reason being is that OSX didn't grab the EDID

You would need to grab EDID from Windows or Linux. You may use MonInfo (save the EDID as .bin file) and later you may use it to inject EDID in clover.

Generally at times you have bad EDID in your LCD Screen and this causes some issues :)

You use Notebook or Desktop?

Notebook (ASUS X201EV)

Hmm.... i'll try it today, and hope this Notebook is QE/CI Enabled :3

Seems OS X reads my EDID Badly, when the FB enabled, only 1366x768 and 1355x{i forgot} are enabled

EDIT : edid injected, but screen still garbled, which guid do you use? This guide don't work for me :(
