ergot Posted October 22, 2014 Share Posted October 22, 2014 I am installing a new machine with the following HW: MB - Asus P6T WS PRO CPU - i7-920 RAM - 8GB DDR3 GPU - GT840 installation went OK, I have network, sound, GPU, sleep, restart,shutdown etc. however i can see that my CPU is not using all threads when running bench mark and the results are accordantly. the socket is LGA 1366, do i need to install VoodooTSCSync kext? I have found some dsdt for my mobo and its look like it is working however the multi results are seems to be very low...around 8000 while single is 1600...can you please check the dsdt and let me know if it is OK? jl4c Posted October 24, 2014 Share Posted October 24, 2014 OK. you have first generation CPU. Boot options: Generate P/C States. And make sure the AppleLPC is loaded.
