Leferty
Hello, i have been a long time (about 2 years) hackintosh user and i have used many tutorials and information from this forum and i have managed to get thru most things but this time i am not able to manage and fix my XFX Radeon 6770.My setup is: i5-2500k Sandy BridgeGA-B75M-D3H Rev 1.0 16Gb RAM120GB SSD OCZ (Sata 3) 1TB WD XFX Radeon HD 6770 DDR5 I am using the chameleon bootloader (lastest version possible), i tried to setup a clover usb but i was unable too, despise that i believe that i would run into the same error so yeah.I tried this tutorial and pretty much every kext possible on osx86 to download, most of the times i googled some sotution i ended up with a dead link. Tutorial i tried http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/file/3778-radeon-hd-6770-full-qeci-for-mavericks/ Still won't load the 5000 kext after reboot, whenever i try to boot with GE=Yes i get the error that tells me that my graphics aren't loading properly. I'm trying to run Yosemite, the final release. Also, if anyone has a guide to manage to fix my Intel HD3000, that is welcome too. I never made it to work and Yosemite without a graphics card is unusable. English is not my main language so bare with me. Any help is welcome. fantomas
hi I assume that you already added your Device ID (0x68BA1002) in AMD5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext, right? you booted with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and despite of this, it does not load... just to confirm, open kext wizard and go to the last tab and tape amd and tell me if you see AMD5000Controller.kext loaded and then tape ati to see if ATIRadeonX3000.kext is loaded

Yes whenever i set GraphicsEnabler=Yes on boot i don't even get to the login screen. Thanks a lot. edit : typos
fantomas
ok, you'll reboot again but this time with kext-dev-mode=1 flag (and GraphicsEnabler=Yes) I know, many users reported that they no more need this flag to boot with chameleon but let's do it
Leferty
My bad i forgot to mention, i already boot with kext-dev-mode=1. That is a no go (just adding GE=Yes). By any chance you have the patched kexts you used?
fantomas
no, no, it's ok now open terminal and tape this cd /System/Library/Extensions sudo chown -R 0:0 AMD5000Controller.kext sudo chmod -R 755 AMD5000Controller.kext sudo kextload -v AMD5000Controller.kext if it loads successfully, you should see it with kext wizard if it's ok, then tape in terminal sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions or sudo kextcache -prelinked-kernel

fantomas
please, reboot as I said it before and if it does not want loading, I'll post here the original + patched kexts maybe your AMD5000Controller.kext version is different from this of AMDSupport.kext there must be a conflict
Leferty
Yep I tried to reboot and type those codes again but no success, I get stuck in the same code. I can upload the 5000controller I'm using if you want. Once again thanks for the help.

Am i into something or this is a lost cause? Also whenever i run sudo kext.. the 5000Controller drops from the KextWizard list of loaded kexts but the X3000 stays there. Not sure if this information is of any help. edit: i forgot the pic link here (again)
