Verdinate
Hey everyone. I followed a tutorial where it explain what options to choose for UEFI for the Clover Bootloader. It successfully created the UEFI partition and I booted into it. I saw the Yosemite partition, tried to boot into it, but it lead me to a black screen and it just hangs on it. What am I doing wrong? Best regards.

Pimentel
Hello We don't give support for tonymac's tools, know why: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/275941-very-important-please-read-about-tonymacx86-and-iatkos/ Unibe**ast use Chimera and EFI/EFI/Clover/kexts/10.10 is a folder that exist only for Clover bootloader, don't have sense put a kext in a determined folder if you're using other bootloader that doesn't use this folder Follow this link to create your usb bootbalei with Clover: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298027-guide-aio-guides-for-hackintosh/?do=findComment&comment=2019599
zsohu
I'm not asking regarding booting from USB, thats working fine. I installed clover to my HDD that's why I put the kexts to the above mentioned folder. The problem now is after I installed 10.10 and installed clover to my EFI partition and copied the above mentioned kexts, when I want to boot from my HDD (not the USB) using clover I got a black screen, and nothing happens. Update: It's seems like Clover r2988 had some bugs, I installed r2999 and now my system boots fine.
Pimentel
Hello If you already installed Clover you need put kexts in S/L/E folder, use Kext Wizard to install FakeSMC FakeSMC donwload: http://olarila.com/files/10.8/HWSensors/FakeSMC.kext.zip You need to make post-installation, follow this guide to make it: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298027-guide-aio-guides-for-hackintosh/?do=findComment&comment=2019606
Taliezin
I got black screen freeze after hitting yosemite in clover to boot; in my case I do have FakeSMC in kexts I have a succesfull boot in legacy bios mode but I cannot get it to boot uefi. I've been playing with differant variations of drivers like emu, aptio etc. with and without own dsdt. Only differance is in some combi of driver I do get the apple but then it doesn't freeze but crashes resulting a reboot I've got a phoenix bios in Samsung R530 laptop. Can anyone help me with this? Taliezin
Taliezin Take a picture with your smartphone to know the precise point where it stops. It stops before any ars come up; so it hangs before it even starts booting; with other combinations of clover drivers it crashes in reboot on apple logo within a second; also no verbose args

I can boot with Chimera, but really would like to boot with Clover UEFI. Did you made any progress?

If you're using legacy BIOS (as I suppose it is), you need to make sure you use Clover as a Legacy Bootloader, not UEFI. Chimera is a legacy bootlaoder. That's why it works. But Clover can be one, as well. Take a look here. Not sure it will provide the ultimate solution, but I think it will give you a good place to start. I have a Fujitsu Laptop witf UEFI 2.31 "BIOS" and would like to use Clover UEFI. I get the Clover GUI (very nice boot menu), but when I hit a key to boot an OS X volume I only get a black screen. I guess it doesn't initializes the Intel HD4000 correctly. I tried a lot to set the Inject and ig-platform-id and so on, but nothing helps. Does there anyone out there can use Clover UEFI on a Fujitsu laptop with Phoenix BIOS?

FakeSMC is in Clover/kexts/10.10 or 10.11? Also, make sure you select the correct Drivers64 UEFI drivers, upon installation, like DataHubDxe-64, EmuVariableUefi-64, OsxAptioFix-64, PartitionDxe-64. Can be added later with Clover Configurator (or reinstalling Clover). And you might be right about the graphics not being properly initialized. That can be the case too, if anything else fails. And as TheRacerMaster said, you can also try booting in verbose mode, and see what you get.

Andres ZeroCross
Yes, i have put FakeSMC on 10.10 and 10.11 Folder already. I think, this is not related to FakeSMC, Phoenix Award Bios issue maybe. Another solution??? If it's about FakeSMC then i can see verbose log right??? But i can't. No verbose log after hit Yosemite icon with -v

No verbose log after hit Yosemite icon with -v Have you set some graphics injection in Clover's config.plist? Also, could you try unplugging one of your monitors? You could also try booting with nv_disable=1 as boot argument. Yes, this will disable your graphics acceleration. But in theory it should allow you to at least boot up your computer. You can install nvidia driver after that, once you get to the Desktop. Also, you can try booting in Safe Mode. See if that makes any difference. Could be bios too... I don't know. Can you boot in Safe Mode or Single User Mode? Or ANY mode whatsoever? If not, you might want to ask the guys in the Clover thread. Maybe they can help. I'm out of ideas.
