qmaster312
Today I installed 10.10 with a usb using a tool. After installing I configured clover and I was able to reboot fine for like ten times. Now it keeps showing: still waiting for root device. When I use my installer usb for booting it works just fine, I've tried bootflags like, dart=0, npci=0x2000, npci=0x3000,PCIRootUID=1,PCIRootUID=0,kext-dev-mode=1 but I still can't get it to work. I have attached my clover plist, my specs are: - I7 4770k - Asus Z87 Pro - MSI GTX660 - 8GB Ram - SSD (enabled trim with a tool) https://www.dropbox.com/s/8u69k063usvqaij/config.plist?dl=
Allan
We don't give support for Tonymac tools, please read our Forum rules. Read here: 12) Q: I get this message "Still waiting for root device" when booting, what are the solutions?
qmaster312
Sorry, I've changed my post but i'm not asking support for those tools but for Clover. I've read the sollutions but none of them works, my AHCI is already enabled and an SSD doesn't have jumpers.

qmaster312
I finally fixed it by changing my SMBIOS to an iMac with haswell. This is weird, because mavericks would run just fine with the SMBIOS of a MacPro6,1.
