cool_recep
Hi,I am trying to install Yosemite to my MSI GE40 laptop. I have installed ML and Mav back then. Now I wanted to give it a try with the latest Yosemite 10.10 and Clover 2953.My System is: i7 4702MQ Haswell HD 4600 GTX 760M 1600x900 LED 14" I have removed all the NVDA*.Kexts yet I am unable to reach the installer screen. In the past, I was booting fine with safe mode, and than later injecting the IG Platform ID. But this time, it was impossible to reach the installer screen. The only think I did not try is removing Intel Kexts but before doing that, I wanted to ask you a question: Is it really ever possible to get into installer screen either by injecting the right FakeID or by selecting other options form the Options.I have tried every possible combination of Inject Intel, Inject EDID and Load VBIOS but none of them got me to the installation screen.I have even tried all of these ID's as FakeIDs: 0x01660001 0x01660002 0x01660003 0x01660004 0x01660008 0x01660009 0x0166000A 0x0166000B 0x01268086 0x04168086 0x00000000 0x0 _ None of them worked.I have even tried changing port numbers, no, that did not work either.Tried also without injecting Kext's, again no luck! Here are some screens: What do you suggest ? cool_recep
I was thinking the same. Removing the Kext or injecting via Config file. Thanks man. One way or in another, you reply questions. Thanks.
teeching
open the installer or the installed partition from a mac setup or windows via macdrive delete bluetooth kexts ( there are three ) that will help you to boot via -x safe mode. those errors are possibly kernel based . Are you using a vanilla kernel ?
cool_recep
I believe it has nothing to do with bluetooth. This error is mainly GPU related. But I will give it a try. Thanks.

cool_recep
You can use Olarila release. And check Kernel PM Patch. Solved. nv_disable=1 did the trick. Update: Problem again. I don't get it. It worked once. Now it is not working.
cool_recep
Solved by removing those Kexts from 10.10 folder. Olarila release.
