Hello, I'm new to the Hackintosh world. I succesfully installed Niresh Mavericks 10.9 but I have to run it with GrapchisEnabler=No.

There are so many guides about post installation but I'm making so much confusion, can you help me out?

My system specs are:

  • MOBO: P8Z77-M PRO
  • CPU: Intel i5 3570k
  • GPU: GTX 780 Lightning
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1600 mhz
  • HDD: 1TB SATA

For the installation, I have used the following settings (pretty much the defaults by Niresh):

  1. Boot-Loader: Chameleon Standards
  2. Graphics:GraphichsEnabler=Yes
  3. Audio: Install Audio Drivers (Kexts)
  4. Network: Install Network Drivers (Kexts)
  5. FakeSMC and Plugins
  6. Bootloader Flags: dart=0 , EthernetBuiltIn=Yes , npci=0x2000 , UseKernelCache=Yes , UsbBusFix=Yes
  7. Chipset: Niresh's Fixed Chipset Kexts , NullCPUPowerManagement
  8. Other Optimizations: Trim support for ssd , usb 3.0

So, I'm writing this because I don't know what to do at the post installation. The problems I had were:

  1. Audio: the audio worked, but the volume was pretty much low and the sound was poor in quality (with scratches, etc...)
  2. Graphics: I had to run with GraphicsEnabler=No, otherwise I had a white screen after the Apple Logo at the boot.

I know I have to use programs like Slytherin to install drivers after the installation, and that's what I did. I used Slytherin to install ALC892 (which are the kexts for my mobo) and the sound improved.

To get rid of the GraphicsEnabler problem, I've searched for kexts for my GPU and I've found a .pkg Web Instraller for Nvidia Drivers (it was 330.01.01f03 if I'm not mistaken), and that did the trick! At the boot I didn't have to write GraphicsEnabler=No to boot, so it seemed to be working properly.

But now, the audio was again not working, but I don't know why.

After a few tries with .kexts, Slytherin, guides, etc, I'm now making a fresh reinstall of 10.9 with the same settings as above.

What do I exactly have to do to make everything work? Is there a post installation guide for my system specs? And what do people mean with repairing/giving permissions, resigning, etc?
