Is it just me or does 10.9 file system corrupt itself a lot?

OS X 10.9 just corrupted on me for the third time this year. I'm really confused about it. One day it's working fine then the next thing you know it's full of errors. I've been able to run DiskWarrior on a working partition but as I don't have any other Mac partitions, I don't know what to do.

Here's a review of what happened before:

  • I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the existing Mac install to my new hard drive, from a Western Digital 320GB from 2007 to a WD 500GB from 2014.
  • I then installed Paragon HFS+ for Windows 8/8.1, which is free on their website (this may have been the culprit)
  • I went back to OS X, worked fine.
  • Went back to Windows to work on that install more.
  • Next day, OS X corrupts itself.

I'm going to make a proper recovery partition, install MLion or later on that and slap DiskWarrior on there. Help is accepted, but I want to know if anyone else has had this with their Mavericks install, Hackintosh or real Mac. I started doing OSX86 stuff with Leopard in 2011, and it never corrupted itself at all, even with HFS+ drivers on Windows. Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, they never did this...
