Bluediablito
Hello all. I have spent weeks reading and following old threads on how to install OS X on my current PC build. I have found my self stuck at work working on project (video / rendering projects) not being able to finish it at home. I am trying to install OS X 10.9 and windows 8.1 on my current build (dual boot). I have ran into some questions and I was hopping that someone would be able to help me. My Current Build Mother Board - Asus P6X58D Premium Bios Version - 0703 Graphic Card - EVGA GTX570 RAM - 8GB corsair DDR3 534MHz CPU - i7-930 Bloomfield 130w DVD - Ad-7241s ata Hard Drive - 2 Hard Drive with 2tb each (one with windows 8.1 and the other blank) What I have in hand Maverick 10.9 DVD - Retail8GB Flash drive.Macbook - Mid-2009 (on 10.6) (for some reason i am unable to update it to 10.9 might be the ram about to give out) Questions 1. My current Bios version is 0703 and the latest version is 1501. Should I update my Bios to 1501 in order to install Mavericks? 2. Do I need a DTDS file for my motherboard? or can i just install it without it?. 3. Do I need a Kext? 4. What should I use Chameleon or Clover? Anything to help me please let me know.
