If you find the newer version frustrating than I'll show you a very little trick that you can do to be able to bypass the "Skype can't connect" issue. Now, this doesn't work with all versions, only with some. I tested it out with Skype 5.6.0.143, but with the newer Skype 6.3.0 this does not work. Okay, so download your old version of Skype, copy it somewhere, click Show package contents, and open Contents/Info.plist! There you will find CFBundleVersion which is the version of Skype. Change it to 7.0.0.653. If there are more settings for the versions, change them all to this number! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
