XanthraX
Hi everyone, After upgrading Mavericks to 10.9.5, I have this problem. The boot process hangs even 10 minutes, after that it works properly. I attached a picture of the screen in verbose mode. Usually it hangs at Executing fsck_hfs (version hfs-226.1.1). I mention I checked the hdd, even formatted it, then reinstalled Mavs. No harddisk errors or defective blocks were found. First boot was normal, but the second one was hanged again. It happens if I boot with Chameleon and Clover. I have Yosemite beta 4 on other partition and I have no problem.
drule
It looks like your boot disk has become corrupted or has corrupted files on it, probably from a crash or unsafe shutdown. You will have to boot from USB or another drive and then run Disk Utility to repair your boot drive.
XanthraX
Thank you for the replay, I did it. I reinstalled cleanly Mavericks too. The system can't recognise the drive's UUID. I don't know how to resolve this.
