Aloha Community.

i seem to simply not getting it.

I have a Sapphire Pure Black X58 Motherboard with no Uefi support.

i ran clover as a bootloader which works fine for osx and linux.

I got a SSD which has a GPT partition table, two partitions, one for windoze 7x64 and one for OSX.

i installed windoze by applying the install.vim with imagex to the partiton because with my installUSB it would not let me install on gpt-partitioned disks.

I can boot the windows fine when using another disk and using the windowsbootloader.

when i try to boot via clover i get an error message "disk read error ..."

is there any way to fix this?

someone suggested to run the installer via clover to trick windoze into thinking its a uefi machine but starting the usb stick results also in "disk read error".

Booting via clover from a install-dvd results in "cannot boot from cd error 4"

Greetings!

maybe  windows has to be the last install, I got this error before.

I do not use win now.   I thought I installed win first but maybe it was last

.

try installing win last. After both mac and win  is working.

(For safety i have 2 g usb Chameleon boot drive.) > boot with Chameleon 2390 usb drive.

I think you can then install the bootloader on Mac and dual boot.
