10.8.3 in VMware Workstation - iMessage all of a sudden stops working?

The other day, iMessage in my little 10.8.3 VM literally decided to stop working. I'm getting the classic "could not sign in to iMessage. The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later" error messages.

 

I've tried everything... I even restore a backup of the same VM from when I know that iMessage was working, and it says the same exact thing... I have no idea why this is happening... iMessage continues to work fine on my iPhone 6 Plus and MacBook Air that's associated with the same email address.

 

Any ideas?
