noahpankow
So, I was finally able to get into the 10.8 installer after failing miserably with #####. I was able to make it work using the Vanilla install method: http://www.ihackintosh.com/2012/07/how-to-install-os-x-mountain-lion-10-8-gm-on-pc-hackintosh/ Now that the installer launches it get the message: "There was a problem installing Mac OS X. Try reinstalling." Any comments on the obvious or not so obvious are much appreciated. noahpankow
Thanks for your quick reply! USB drive formatted in MBR I found the Vanilla guide in the Wiki under 10.8. Thanks for your link, much better. I was concerned I botched the EDI and Basesystem assembly when i built the installer. To reach installer I had to delete all GPU kexts and use boot flag "GraphicsEnabler=No" DELL XPS STUDIO 435t/9000 CPU: i7 920 @ 2.66 GHz RAM: 12GB DDR3 HD: 250GB SAMSUNG 840EVO SSD GPU: NVIDIA GTS 240 1GB
