Hi,

I have a 2008 iMac that has an ATI Radeon 2400 XT 128MB graphics card in it. I use FCPX for video editing, and the graphics card just isn't cutting it. It isn't on the list of supported cards, so I think the processor is taking the load (I'm lucky that I upgraded to a 3.06 C2D). I found a GeForce 9600M GT which is MXM II (what I think the iMac is) and is a supported FCPX card on eBay (www.ebay.com/itm/New-nVIDIA-Geforce-9600M-GT-MXM-II-DDR2-1024MB-VGA-Card-G96-630-C1-VG-9PG06-009-/280924092840?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item41686179a8). It was manufactured by Acer, so I assume it hs an Acer VBIOS on it. Is there any way I can make this card work with my iMac? Is this not the card to use? If it isn't, please give me suggestions. If it helps, I'm looking for a card less than $225 or so.

Thanks
